Temporary restorations

Oral restoration with all-ceramic crowns-open bite correction

Restoration of complete lack of teeth in the lower jaw with two-piece denture (Ball attachment)

The denture placed in the mouth

Denture retention is increased

Periodontal teeth with poor prognosis

After the extraction of the natural teeth implants were placed for immobile full arch rehabilitation

Provisional denture supported by the two remaining wisdom teeth

The prosthesis placed in mouth (screwed) after the extraction of the last two teeth

Root caries after 10 years of full mouth crown restoration

Temporary restorations

Final restorations with crown elongation

Immediate temporary restoration on the osseointegration phase

Final restoration with facial screw access due to the lack of bone quantity which obliged to facial implant placement

Case with large periodontal destruction in both centrals and left lateral incisors. Initial situation

Gum recession is obvious in left cental and lateral incisor accompanied by high level mobility

Following teeth extraction having poor prognosis and three implants placement

Alveolar bone conservation obtained by cancellous bone graft combined by resorbable collagene membrane and restoration finished with three zirconium crowns construction

Patient’s smile

Case with minimum remaining teeth accompanied by increased mobility and large amounts of calculus deposition leading to poor prognosis

The remaining alveolar bone is enough for restoration with four and two implants in maxilla and mandible respectively for hybrid dentures

Placement and healing of six implants

Case programmed to completion with six ball attachments

The increased retention allows the avoidance of palatal expansion and extended fins in both upper and lower dentures

Both chewing and vocal abilities are ensured due to the stability of the restoration

Right lateral view of complete restoration

Aligner type splint treated patient. Open bite in anterior teeth combined by palatal inclination of maxillar posterior teeth

Left lateral view with obviously palatal inclination of maxillar posterior teeth

Case completed with open bite corrected and maxillar posterior teeth shifted buccally

Right lateral view with axial inclination of posterior teeth corrected – open bite correction

Left lateral view with axial inclination of posterior teeth corrected – open bite correction

Achieving relocation of maxillar posterior teeth to fit with opposite mandibular

Case with extensive dental substance destruction – lack of posterior and anterior teeth leading to  vertical dimension loss and total disruption of the mouth. In the stage of temporary crowns and dental implants placement in the mandibular posterior places

Restoration completed in central ocllusion position with zirconium crowns offering an even aesthetic result

Patient’s smile

Initial patient’s situation with extensive composite resin restorations’ discoloration together with secondary caries

After teeth preparation and temporary crown construction

Final restoration with zirconium crowns in central occlusion

Final restoration with zirconium crowns in resting place

Case with minimum remaining teeth, vertical dimension loss, old and ruined immobile and mobile restorations.
There is functional such as esthetic degradation.
The patient asked for a full mouth rearrangement with immobile rehabilitation, rejecting any other alternatives
i.e. full dentures. Medical history was free

Maxilla with adequate bone quantity can accept osteointegrated implants in purpose of immobile restoration

Mandible can also be fully restored after extraction of the remaining natural teeth. The
surgical procedure organized to be done in one stage for both jaws

Initial panoramic x-ray in combination with CT scan (CBCT) showed us the quantity of the alveolar ridge
and indicated the right position for the best implant spreading

Panoramic x-ray post-surgery showing the correct implementation so the prosthesis
will be supported on implants with competent settlement.
On upper right quadrant an extra implant was placed in position 14 because the one in position 17 did not have
satisfying primary stability which could jeopardize its success. Although all 13 had fully integrated.
Implants in positions 17 and 27 although in panoramic x-ray all looking like entering in the sinuses, in fact
this doesn’t happen as shown in the CT scan

7 maxilla implants post-uncovering and placing healing caps for emergence profile shaping

6 mandible implants post-uncovering like the maxilla ones which had been fully gum-covered after sub-bone
placement and covering screws use

Final restoration in resting place after impression and stages of metal framework and porcelain testing

Rehabilitation from right side. Any possible attempt was made so that all the mid-teeth spaces were covered
and food accumulation is avoided, along with trouble free oral health execution

Same case from left side. Both implants-supports and intermediates have the smallest gum-teeth space so that
both tooth- and interdental- brush can be used, something very important for long lasting reconstruction

Mouth in central occlusion place. Functionality such as vertical dimension totally fulfilled

Patient’s smile

Aligner type splint treated patient. Old and discolored crown on upper right central incisor
programmed to be replaced after orthodontic treatment in purpose of color uniform recovery.
Overcrowding in mandible incisors is obvious such as color stain presence through all the teeth

Mandible showing lack of space for right teeth settlement. An effort was made to avoid incisor
extraction for space saving and moving teeth to their right positions. In this case the outcome was
achieved by interproximal reduction (IPR) in the lower central and lateral incisors and canines

Final outcome after 7 months of treatment and zirconium crowns fabricated on upper central incisors
(in central occlusion)

The case in resting place

Left view. The patient did not wish the elimination of teeth discoloration which remained and just
reduced by fine grained diamond bur
