A bridge is defined as the stationary prosthetic restoration which uses naturally remaining teeth as supports to replenish teeth that have been lost. However, the criteria for selecting these teeth must be very strict because in such a difficult and aggressive environment as the oral cavity, the success of dental intervention depends on the precise assessment of the therapist and the right choice is a basic and primary responsibility.

Pre-prosthetic treatment phase
The main prosthetic phase of the treatment precedes a series of work to prepare the soil so that we can then proceed to pure prosthetic restoration.
These hierarchies and tasks are: tooth extractions that are doomed, removal of old prosthetic restorations, endodontic therapies, implants, orthodontic movements, restoration of periodontal health. In this context, the patient must be informed and familiarized with the means and methods of maintaining oral hygiene, before, during, and after treatment.
